Case 1: Retail Pop-up Calligraphy

Whatever the holiday, whether its Mother's day, Valentine's day, or Christmas, it's a time for your brand to deliver. Even in down seasons, the retail environment can often seem like an arms race, with brands competing for attention on the shop floor in increasingly distracting ways. 

This past Christmas, we helped Rituals Cosmetics cut through the noise of the retail environment and connect with their consumers on a personal level. Operating out of the Rituals pop-up in Magasin du Nord, Copenhagen's oldest department store, we created a Calligraphy stand at the checkout counter:

This gave consumers the option to have a personalized Christmas card written in our exquisite calligraphy to a loved one, like in the example below:

The result was delighted customers who undoubtedly retold the story of their visit to Rituals when they gave the gift to the loved ones. Asking your customers to compose a heartfelt message right then and there instantly gives an emotional connection to your brand. 

Even better, the retail staff soon learned that mentioning the gratuitous service to the passersby on the sales floor would grab their attention and tip the scales in helping them make a purchase decision

Long story short: Any brand operating a pop-up needs a calligrapher. Like, yesterday.
